The Palestinian Authority might have broken all ties with the Trump administration, but it certainly hasn’t been willing to give up access to American medical care. Majid Faraj, chief of PA General Intelligence Service recently underwent heart surgery in the US, for the second time in the last six months. This comes on the heels of PA president Mahmoud Abbas trip to a Baltimore area hospital for “unreported” reasons, during his trip in which he snubbed meeting with Trump administration officials. If the PA isn’t interested in dialogue with the US, maybe the US should reconsider its open hospital door policy for its leaders.
